Entry # 13- Capturing Attention Project- Interview Notes

There is a few notes that we took during the interview. They are the fallowing.

• The date of the event should be as close to Valentine's Day as possible
• It is better to do a flier rather that an invitation for the event
• The flier should be cute a legible
• The seniors( 12th graders) will be handing out the candy
• There should be a cute logo or phrase
• It will be able at lunch time

Entry # 9- Capturing Attention Project- Areas of Interaction

The Areas of Interaction that have been highlighted by the teacher is Approaches to Learning and Human Ingenuity. This project related to Approaches to Learning because you will need communication, information, and know how to connect ideas. The reason why is because you will need to communicate to the event planner, you will need information about the event, and you will need to connect ideas with your partner in order to get a finished product.

Entry # 7- Capturing Attention Project- Design Task

The design task that we have been asked to is to make an invitation for an event that is going on in the school. We will have to meet with the event coordinator and talk about the event and the criteria that is needed for the invitation. From there me and my partner will design the invitation based on what she told us.

Entry #6 - Success Project - My Strength

My strength is being open minded the reason why is because I am open to other cultures and learning new things about them. I'm very interested to learn about different peoples customs and way of living. I never opinionated negatively towards people because they act a certain way because they are from another country. I'm also into learning new languages because I will be able to speak to people that know language other than Spanish and English.

Entry #5-Sucess Project-The Design Brief

The design brief is basically broken down into four main components. They are the goal,target market,major constraints, and criterion. The goal is to understand the IB learner Profile and to educate our peers on the qualities. The Target Market include teachers, parents, academic and non-academic visitors, and students. The constraints are proper grammar and spelling, students in uniform in the pictures, and the paper size of 8 1/2" x 11" . The Criterion is that the poster should be visually pleasing, images have to be clear, and the pictures should have clear quality.

The Area Of Interaction that has been highlighted is Approaches to Learning. It might be interpreted to help me understand the problem by giving me a better idea of how being a communicator helps me to learn and understand different concepts.

Entry #2 -Sucess Project- Design Task

The design task I have been asked to solve is to understand the meaning of a communicator. The way I did it was by making a sketch about an example of a communicator. After the sketch I had to take a picture of a person doing watch I sketched out.
